Naresh Fernandes is a journalist from Bombay. He is the author, most recently of 'City Adrift: A Short Biography of  Bombay' . His first book, Taj Mahal Foxtrot: The Story of Bombay's Jazz Age was the winner of the Ashok Da Ranade Award and the Shakti Bhatt First Book Award.
